No, I was not on any substances before, during or after this meal. Wish I could re-experience the first time I had the seven course meal. This experience took me back to my best childhood memories and kicked the arrogance right out of them. Had Indian food all my life, also take pride in enjoying cuisines of every place I travelled to. Maybe one spoiler: Your understanding of what constitutes a samosa and a lassi is definitely going to change. Make no mistake, I took great pleasure in being knocked out. I'm not going to ruin it for you, because the whole menu was a surprise and Chef Jassi took great pride in knocking me out in every single course. That was of course, until Chef Jassi came out with the third course. Had an out of body experience and felt I had ascended to another plane. Going with the 7 course tasting menu has been the best investment I've ever made and I scored an Msi GP63 Leopard with a GTX1070 + i7-8750H for 1299 back in 2018. Never wrote reviews because I strictly believe in word of mouth (also lazy), but you got to see this, for real. the first day I started coming here, always knew this place was the Indian restaurant most worthy of a Michelin star in this part of the world (definitely more deserving than the other one across town that already has one). Been coming here for the past year regularly, always impressed with their consistent, top quality dishes that easily take the likes of Bukhara, Junoon and Indian Accent head on (perhaps took that for granted, too).
